Cal Ranch

Hannah's Kindergarten class went to Cal Ranch for a field trip. I was able to take the day off work and spend some time with her. We decided to do a little shopping and have a lunch date before school. She picked Panda for lunch and it sure was yummy!
All of the kids were so excited to ride on the bus. It was pretty cute to hear all of their excitement once we were loaded on the bus and on our way. I got to chaperone these two cute girls.
Keira and Hannah - Loving the bus ride!

Once at Cal Ranch we found out that we were going to learn about their baby chicks, ducks, bunnies and turkey. We gathered in the front of the store and waited for the tour to begin.
These cute little chicks were born just the night before. There were about 300 of them and the kids thought they were so cute!

They weren't allowed to touch the chicks, ducks or turkey but they did get to pet this cute little bunny. He was so stinkin cute!

We learned all about the different kind of chickens and how to take care of them. They showed us what color of eggs each chicken lays. The kids were all so cute and were very well behaved. I'm so thankful that I got to with them. Hannah came home and tried to convince me that we need a chicken. Here's a little bit of our conversation.
Hannah "Mom, those chicks are so cute! Can we get some?"
Me "Who will take care of them? They are a lot of work"
Hannah "We all will. I'll help, I promise"
Me "Who's going to clean up their poop?"
Hannah "Dad"
Ha, well at least she knows that I didn't want that job. Yuck! I don't think chickens will be joining our home anytime soon but you just never know!

Cookie Cutter Haircuts

The girls and I had a fun "girl" day on Saturday. We got up and got all of our house work done so we could spend the rest of the day playing. Hannah has been wanting to get her hair cut for a long time so I made an appointment and off we went to Cookie Cutters.
Here is Hannah's "before" picture to show how long her hair had gotten.

Each girl got to pick out the chair they wanted to sit in and picked out a cartoon to watch on the tv. Bailey was more interested in seeing what Hannah was up to than watching the tv but the ladies did a great job with them.

Hannah picked the pink car and we put Bailey is this cute one

They styled Hannah's hair so cute and she was thrilled! What a fun day getting haircuts. When we got out to the car Hannah said, "Mom, I didn't know that place was going to be so cute inside. It was the perfect place for a haircut."
