4th of July 2012

We had a quiet 4th of July this year.  With all the wildfires burning we decided we weren't going to light any fireworks this year.  My girls got all dressed in their red, white, and blue for the day.  They were pretty cute little "firecrackers".

I tried to get one good picture of them but it's almost impossible to get a good smith out of either of them let alone both of them at the same time.  Oh well!  We had a great day hanging out, shopping and having dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Mestek.

Terry's 70th Birthday & Retirement Party

The girls and I went to help celebrate Grandpa Terry's 70th Birthday and Retirement.  Everyone did a great job planning the party.  It was a 70's themed party and everyone dressed up.  They had poodle skirts for all of the girls.  SO CUTE!

Such a fun day.  We loved spending time with everyone!  There was plenty of good food, entertainment, conversations and laughs.  So glad that we get to be part of this family.  Scott missed out on most of the fun but was able to join us for the last hour.

Bring your child to work day 2012

My work had a bring your daughters and sons to work day this year.  Hannah got to come spend the day at work with me.  She got there a little early and stayed longer with me.  It was fun to have her there with me.  She colored while she waited for the day to start.

 The kids all gathered in the conference room and played a getting to know you game so they could learn each other's name.  Then they went on a tour of the office and had some different people talk to them along the way.

Such a fun day with the kids in the office.  After taking a tour they got to make some posters and then went on a walk down to the fountains.  They had pizza for lunch.  I love seeing everyones kids and I loved getting to spend the day with Hannah.
