Pizza Night

The girls and I had a pizza night.  We made pita pizza's together.  I got the toppings ready and they put them on.  Hannah was very carefully placing each piece of cheese.  Not Bailey, she just grabbed a handful and dropped it on.

I should have taken a picture of their finished pizza's before I cut them up.  They both did a good job!  It's fun to cook with my girls.  They both enjoyed their yummy pizza's.
Hannah is a big 1st grader this year.  She has been so excited for 1st grade.  I think she was the most excited to get to have school lunch.  Her teacher this year is Mrs. Shober.  This is her first year teaching.  We are excited to see what the year brings.  Before school Scott gave both girls a Father's Blessing.  I'm so glad that we have the priesthood in our home!

Waiting for Daddy....Bailey had to have a chair next to Hannah

1st Grade Here I come!!
I'm lame and still can't figure out how to turn my pictures.  The pictures I take on our nice camera turn themselves but I can't figure out how to get the pictures off the small camera to turn.  Sorry, you will have to tilt your head if you want to see the next few...

Hannah's classroom door.

So cute!  These kids were all so excited for the first day.  We were glad that we could take her and see her off for her first day.  Hannah was super excited to see a few familiar friends in her class.  It's going to be a great year!

Wicked

We have been waiting for this night for a very long time.  We got out tickets in November of last year.  I have been super excited to see this play.  What a great date night out for us.  Thank you to my parents for keeping the girls for us so we could go.

Hannah took these pictures of us before we left the house
We met Carrie and Brittnie for dinner and the Old Spaghetti Factory at Trolley Square.  I totally forgot to take a picture of us all there.  It was so fun to get to visit and catch up with Carrie and the food wasn't bad either.

Brittnie and Carrie - So cute, love them!

The play was amazing!  Well worth the wait.  We all had a great night.

Neighborhood Day of Service 2012

This year the Relief Society was in charge of our neighborhood day of service.  It was interesting to plan it and find projects to work on.  It was planned on a weekend that many people were out of town.  We were concerned that we wouldn't have enough participation to complete our projects.  I was so excited to see how many people showed up.  We have a great ward!  We did yard work for two single sisters.  Both yards needed a lot of work an I was so impressed to see how much we were able to accomplish.
Here are the few pictures that I took (Sorry for the ones that are sideways.  I still can't figure out how to turn them.)

The day was a success!  Those yards looked great and they were able to trim some of the roses bushes at the church.  We finished our project with a lunch.  So thankful for all those that came and helped and endured the heat.  I think it's safe to say that we were all hot and tired by the time we were done.

One Last Office Prank

We had to have one more fun office prank before Carrie left.  So, we conjured up a plan to fill her desk with balloons and build a wall to keep them all in.  Dave quickly got to work building the wall and I came in loaded with balloons....a LOT of balloons.  I blew up hundreds of balloons and filled her desk as best as I could before I ran out.  I stopped to buy more the next morning and headed to work.  Much to my surprise, she beat me in.  This is how I found her when I got there.  The wall was already down and there were balloons everywhere!

Since Dave wasn't at work Carrie and I thought we should relocate all the balloons to his desk so we built a wall and filled it to the brim.

We got some good use out of these balloons.  Dave managed to get to work way before me the next morning and guess what I found...yes, that's correct, all of the balloons had been moved to my desk.  Man did that plan backfire on me.  It was a fun week and we certainly got some good use out of those balloons.  Sure going to miss having Carrie there.  Just not the same without my "partner in crime".

Hannah's 6th Birthday - Take 2

On Hannah's actual birthday we let her have a friends party.  She is in a primary class full of all girls.  It's so fun to have so many friends all her same age.

Love her pretty blue eyes and cute smile in this one.

We had the girls come over for lunch and then took them all to the movies.  I made them goody cups instead of bags to take home.

Funny faces
We took them to see the movie Brave.  I enjoyed listening to them giggle.  Seven little girls with just Scott and I....  It was a success.  They were all very good!  I took a couple of pictures of them after the movie.  The theatre was still dark so I did my best to get them all.

What a fun group of girls!

We took all the girls home after the movie.  What a fun day!  Thank you too all the parents that let their children come, we had a blast with them.  We feel so lucky to have good friends for Hannah to play with and how fun that they can all be in primary together.

Hannah got to pick where we had her birthday dinner.  This year she decided on Zuppa's.  It was just our little family but we had a good time.  What a big day for our special girl.  We love you Hannah!  Hope your day was fantastic!
