After the wedding on Saturday we went back to the hotel to take the girls swimming. Hannah was so excited she couldn't wait. We got both girls in their suits and headed for the pool. I have to say that they both looked pretty cute! I think Bailey enjoyed her first time swimming. Hannah was so excited that we all stayed in the pool the entire time. She is getting so good at going under water and holding her breath. She practiced floating on her back and jumping off the side to Scott and I. It was fun to see how much she has learned in the few swimming lessons she has had so far. It was a long day for all of us so after swimming we all crashed. I should have taken a picture of them. Nothing better than sweet girls all zonked out.

Kenzie and Justin's wedding
We made a trip to Idaho for Kenzie's wedding this weekend. She was a beautiful bride! Still can't believe she is married. I know that her mom and grandma were looking down from heaven on her. I didn't think to get a picture of her and Justin together but here are a few that we took at the reception. (I still can't figure out how to get these in order....aargh)

Father's Day 2011
Scott and Hannah started our day making pancakes for breakfast. I LOVE seeing these two cook together. Hannah is always eager to get in and help in the kitchen...A girl after my own heart.
Bailey, Scott, and Hannah all posing for a little picture before church. My girls sure do love their Daddy. Hannah was so excited to give him the card she made for Father's Day. She came into our room, bright and early, with the card. She told Scott that he is the best Dad ever. Pretty cute! I'm so thankful to have such a great husband and wonderful dad for our kids. Having kids has changed us forever and these two girls have Scott wrapped around their little fingers. Hannah even convinced him to let her paint his toenails one night. Not many dads would let their daughters do that. He did tell her that she wouldn't be doing it again but it sure did make her happy. She thought it was funny. We took pictures but I don't think he would appreciate me posting them. Happy Father's Day Scott! We love you!

Swim Lessons
Monday was Hannah's first swim lesson. I thought she would be excited but I was wrong. She was sure that she would not like swim lessons. She shed some tears and wasn't looking forward to her first class. I got her there and she quickly discovered that it was fun. I'm so glad it was a good experience for her! They are teaching them to put their faces in the water and breath out of their noses. Not her favorite part of the lessons but she's giving it a good try. I'm so proud of her!
Here she is waiting for her lesson to start
She likes to float on her back.
Yummy!
Bailey gets to have some solid foods now and is doing really well with it. We started her off with the rice cereal. I wasn't sure if she would know what to do when I stuck it in her mouth. She was more than ready to eat. She does good with it. It's a little messy, especially when she shoves her hands in her mouth.
I think she enjoyed her first bites of rice cereal
She has tried a few different things and likes most of them. The one thing that we know she doesn't like is green beans. She took one bite, made a nasty face and then promptly spit it out at me. I tried to give her a second spoon full and she gagged herself on it. Naughty! She definitely let me know that she wan't going to eat it. We will give peas a try next and see if she will eat them or not. Bailey brings us all so much joy! She has recently started laughing and no one can make her laugh more than her big sister.

4 Months Old
Today Bailey is four months old. These past few months have flown by. Bailey is such a blessing to our family. She had a rough start to her life but is doing so well now. She loves her big sister! She will sit and smile and talk to Hannah. They are pretty cute together. Bailey can now roll from her tummy to her back and loves to sit in the Bumbo. She sucks on her thumb any chance she gets. I think I have lost that battle. She will even spit the binky out to put her thumb in. Oh dear! She also found her voice and coo's at us regularly now and loves to sing with Hannah.
Here are her stats from her Dr. Appointment today.
Weight: 14lbs and 4 oz
Height: 25 Inches
Head: 41 centimeters
For as big as she was when she was born her weight has leveled out. She is in the 65% for her weight and the 75% in height. She is a happy and healthy little girl. I can't imagine life without her.
So tired after her big day - 2 shots and getting her ears pierced all in the same afternoon.
